Russian Vacuum Bomb

When I heard bout this new vacuum bomb in the news a day or two ago I was a lil surprised, cos I heard about that years ago. I think it was in the first war in Chechnya where the Russians were accused to have used a small vacuum bomb. Little was said or shown bout that and the Russians didn’t told anything. Well, and the world never really cared bout Chechnya anyways. I guess mostly cos mainly they’ve seen it as internal affair thing.
Well, about that vacuum bomb back then they said some infos like its not doing much damage to things like buildings and such and that it ‘only’ would kill living beeings….in a very cruel way.
That ‘new’ seems just like another big bomb tho. I mean the US have these so called Daisy-cutters and that smaller vacuum bombs(first time I heard that tho). YOu shouldn’t mind about just haveing the smaller vacuum bomb now - just throw 2 for the same effect, lol.
Okay, that was bad.
On a second thought these bombs seem really a bit scary. They are like lil nuclear bombs, cause the same amount of damage, but have no negative side-effects like the radiation.
When I think of some of those (US-)politicians and mililtary-folks who still want to keep the option of using nuclear weapons….. 0.0
A weapons with such a potential, but no negative effetcs….there no longer is that border of polluting with radiation… I am afraid now they will much more see the use of such a weapon an acceptable option..unlike with nuclear bombs.
Such a “clean” and effective bombs calls to be used. And would anyone really be protest if it would be used? A government could say it better to use such a bomb than risk the lives of thousands of your soldiers and with no radiation doing harm to innocents… Yeah, I am really afraid alot people will like to have that bomb in their arsenals and in their war-plans!

Interesting. I think the fact that it has no radiation has people thinking it’s a good thing but to me it’s just kinda better because it’s still a bomb afterall. It’s also scary…
